Concept
BASE ACCESS
A dedicated accessible configuration, designed as its own product.

Accessibility is a design problem, not an add-on.
The standard BASE configuration is a retrofit of conventional portable toilet shells. Those shells are not accessible units, and BASE does not make them so.
What BASE ACCESS would need to address
- A larger cabin footprint and clear turning space
- Door width, swing and hardware that can be operated by more people
- Grab bar locations and structural backing
- Fixture heights, reach ranges and control types
- Exterior approach, surface and threshold
- Ventilation, lighting and indicator design that work for more users
Important
No compliance claim.
BASE ACCESS is a concept. Neither it nor the ordinary BASE configuration is claimed to be ADA compliant or compliant with any other accessibility standard or building code. Any accessible configuration requires design by qualified engineers, review against the codes that apply where it is used, and verification by a professional before it is offered or relied upon.
